Trusting the Lord
As we all know very well, life often confronts us with unexpected circumstances or painful. Sometimes this situation leave us a sense of fear, despair, and frustration. Consequently, we may question whether God is really reliable.
The moments have problems that seem to come and go, we can hold on to this truth: God is perfect in His love. Based on I John 1:5 “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.” In other words, everything that my heavenly Father do is right. And if He is a loving God, then it is impossible for him to treat each of His children the wrong way. We must be sure that whatever place or allow Him in our lives is good and that his motives were truly genuine.

Anchor of Hope
The old sailor looked at the sky and saw that the storm will come soon. Become malignant and choppy sea, sailors slowly lower the anchor, closed the door shut and went to bed. He knew the storm would be malignant. But he believed in the anchor. He knew his boat would remain there in the morning.
As sailors, we have ‘anchor’ in our lives who can help us stand firm to face the storms of life. The anchor is called hope. Biblically, the hope is closely related to faith. Ten Ways to Connect With the Divine and to Find the Higher Self
Each religion approaches the divine in a unique way. Here are ten universal paths practiced by devotees to find God and connect with the higher self.
Every path to God is a personal experience, a private journey. No one path is inherently superior, as all paths to God are valid and useful.
Jesus said, “I and the Father are One.” (John 10:30) Humans and God are one. As devotees draw nearer and nearer to God, the ultimate goal is to merge with the Divine in an intimately spiritual union. Sri Ramana Maharishi, the famous Indian guru who achieved enlightenment at the age of 16, asserts, “God, Guru, and the Self are the same.” (p. 10, Erase the Ego) Read the rest of this entry »
The Rapture of Christ’s Church
In May 2004, I was sick in bed with pneumonia for 9 days. I stayed in bed like the doctor told me to, but had this consuming energy to do something. I decided to take advantage of the down time away from work, and read a book that I had always wanted to read called Left Behind. I am in no way trying to sell anyone on the book; it is just that this book stirred up something in me that prompted me to go on a quest in my Bible. Through all of my searching, I have decided that regardless of who is right and who is wrong about the Rapture, NO ONE should wait another moment to accept Jesus Christ or delay until the “time is right” to tell their loved ones the Good News which is… Read the rest of this entry »
Journey of Faith
What is our journey of faith and how do we get the true understanding of how faith works in our lives? How do we structure and build upon faith as we take our journey through life to where we become strong to the point of maturity?
Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld. It coveys the idea of something that underlies visible conditions and guarantees a future possession. Faith is, therefore, the basis for hope and the evidence for conviction concerning unseen realities. The entire body of truths delivered by Jesus Christ and his inspired disciples constitutes the true Christian “faith.” Read the rest of this entry »
