Not just about Wealth
You probably already familiar with the story of a wealthy young man, on hearing Jesus’ answer above, the young man was disappointed, and left with a lot of grief because his property (Mark 10:21-22).
If only young people know, actually the suggestion of Jesus to sell all his property is an invitation to expand the “adventures” with God. Unfortunately, the young man declined the invitation. Although he loves the Lord, obey the law of God, but he tripped and limited by many of his wealth.
You know, God also gives advantage to expand the “adventure” we are with Him. Even if it is an attractive offer, it is also quite scary as this is the challenge of faith. God wants us to live a day with him to depend entirely on Him, not our possessions and wealth.
Today, if we want God to answer this challenge? Not just sell all our possessions, but rather whether we realize that all our possessions belong to God and we should not depend on it. Let us expand the “adventure” with God.
God does not ask for our money, he did not need it. God just wants our hearts. You could Submit article for one of your resource.
