PostHeaderIcon Strong Pray

Once a child is following a race. That day the atmosphere was festive because it is the final round, one of which is Rio. Before the game started Rio bowed head, folded his hands and mumbling prayers berkomat. The game starts, turns Rio reach the finish line first. Rio certainly thrilled to be champion.

When the distribution of prizes, the committee chairman asked, “Hey champ, you must have been praying to God that you win is not it?” Rio shook his head. “No sir, it’s not fair to ask God to help defeat the others. I just asked the Lord, so I would not cry if I lose. “All the audience fell silent to hear it. After a while, there was thunderous applause that filled the room.

Application is Rio extraordinary prayer. He did not ask God to grant all his hopes, but he prays that given the strength to face whatever happens with a steadfast mind. The strength could be get from healthy food with good ingredient such as essential oils, and also healthy living and mind.

Often we pray to God to grant our every request. We want God to make us number one, making the best of every opportunity. We ask God to dispel any obstacles and temptations that exist in plain sight. No one indeed, but should not we need is His guidance and wisdom to understand His plan the most perfect in our lives, especially when we experience “failure and defeat”?

We should pray for strength to accept God’s will is perfect as the best in life, though perhaps it is not comfortable for us. Pray for winning is ordinary, but to pray for His will when we lose that is the true faith!

Even in verse 17, people who are already wealthy were also warned by Paul not to get cocky and look forward to his wealth.
